OUR TECHNOLOGY SOLUTION

EAST's ultra-high throughput newWave satellites provide broadband connectivity to the world's most demanding customers at home, at work and on the move.

Customers expect broadband connectivity everywhere: at home, at work and on the move. EAST's newWave satellites extend the coverage of terrestrial services and deliver broadband to residential, business and government users in areas that are either unserved or underserved. With download speeds in the hundreds of Mbps, EAST will initially offer services in Latin America, the Middle East & Africa and Southeast Asia to vertical markets such as consumer broadband, wireless backhaul, in-flight connectivity, defense & security, e-government, content distribution, etc.

For enterprises and governments, who need to move large amounts of sensitive data around the world, security and reliability are key. EAST's advanced system architecture logically separates and routes data across the company's state-of-the-art satellite network infrastructure while delivering the industry's best cost to performance metrics. Customers can rely on EAST's newWave satellites with strong data encryption to achieve the highest level of security for both domestic and international communications.

The key to delivering cost-effective broadband via satellite is flexible payload technology. EAST's newWave satellites optimally allocate power and bandwidth, in near real-time, to match the fluctuations in capacity demand. In addition to being flexible, EAST can rapidly scale the size of its fleet to address explosive broadband demand growth. With its relatively narrow spotbeams and advanced digital payload, EAST delivers the world's highest capacity density.
